Yeah, I don't see enough miles to get to DM....if the schedule was keeping up yeah....but I'm relo'ing in the next few months so I'll max out at PM due to not enough MQM's. I have the DM spend already but been taking short jaunts between MSP & CLT all year.
It's all good - if that was the worst DYKWIA story I have to report out of all the time I've spent in the air this year, things are going okay

My DYKWIA story for the summer.
While clearing immigration the lines in ATL I am telling my spouse about GE and how nice it is to have (I have it, she does not yet). Well Saturday PM was rather empty in the immigration hall so doing the regular kiosk is just as fast. We are waiting our turn in line as the GE officer is free he calls us over. Midway through clearing us, rather waiting at the yellow line as one is supposed to do, "Mr. Impatient" just walks up and shoves his passport in front of the CBP officer. He does not have his GE receipt out correctly so it goes from there with the officer somewhat berating him. He is finally cleared and as he is leaving he clips me with his bags. He says nothing.
We finish up and head off to the escalator down to baggage claim where we catch up to Mr. Impatient. At that point I decide to tell Mr. Impatient that he needs to learn to have a little patience, wait his turn, and to pay attention to where he is walking. I finally tell him that he is not special.
Then a few minutes later while waiting at baggage claim I am standing about 4 feet from the carousel with my cart to retrieve my bags Mr. Impatient walks up and promptly stands in front of me! At that point I had enough and said "You azz hole" He heard me and knew it was directed at him. I moved my cart over and grabbed our bags before Mr. Impatient has any of his. Sometimes the priority tags do pay off.

EXTREMELY important VIP on DL 1962 PHL-DTW today!!!
So, the GA was doing a very organized boarding, asking all the premiums and diamonds to line up in the Sky Priority Lane and all the people needing additional time and UMs to line up in front of general boarding before he stRted boarding. There was a UM, a lady on crutches and a few other folks who were going to have to start boarding early. I happened to be at the start of sky priority. As the GA starts to board the preboards, Mr. VIP strolls through Sky Priority past the rest of us, walks in front of the pre-boards and proceeds to present his Apple Watch to the scanner. The GA gently motions him away at which point, he just gets directly behind a preboard and hustles on down the jetway after scanning his Apple watch. The GA calls premium and diamonds and we go down. About half way down, I pass him futzing around with his carry on and board in 1D. I noticed that he ended up in 4A. BTW, I apparently am seated next to his type A wife wearing those fancy yoga pants that cost $2,000 or whatever and believes she can stow HER laptop in the bulkhead pocket. Sigh.

Two mentions of the Apple watch, one on the $2K pants.
Personally, I feel sorry for most of those who buy I-Stuff and overpriced clothes because "it is what one does". Not jealous of them.
[Not really being anti Apple with that comment. They do make some good product. Just anti those in the follow on fanboy club]
