What do pigeons, sheds and safe spaces have in common? π€Literally nothing, however...At the next #workgrouplegal in London, you'll have 3 shedloads π of workgroups to choose from, on everything from how not to be pigeon-holed as a lawyer, to how GCs can create safe spaces for their teams.π¦ Your first choice is Ofei Kwafo-Akoto's workgroup, who wants to know how other GCs avoid being pigeon-holed as a lawyer, through the power of stats and hard facts.π€ Meanwhile, Zaffrin O'Sullivan and Alex Shandro run a joint workgroup asking where GCs can find a footing in AI, how to stay afloat in the ocean of AI news and manage the legal risk.π Spoilt for choice, your next option is Neetu Ogle's workgroup, where she wants to know how other GCs prioritise what matters, asking the group to share tips on how to constructively say no.π Sunil Sehgal runs your next workgroup, asking "wait a sec, aren't GCs actually *in* the business?" Should we consider ourselves partners, when we should be making decisions?π§π½ What about safe spaces, you say? Well, ALLIA KHAN asks how GCs can create psychological safety in their teams, and balance business with bien-Γͺtre.π€¬ Mark Levine leads your final choice of workgroup, asking GCs to share how they go about justifying the cost of pricy new hires! If for some cosmic reason you're not already signed up, then put down your horoscope, and sign up here - https://lnkd.in/eXY45iADWorkgroup Legal London is on 19th June, attended by 70 GCs and Heads of Legal, but will you be 1? π»

Losing your keys was normalWhy it matters:Don't worry. If you're constantly losing your keys (or your phone) and you're afraid it means you also might be losing your marbles, you have nothing to fear. A certain level of forgetting is natural because the brain often needs to make room for new information. Experts say that rather than work like a recording device that archives every single nugget of data, memory works 'more like a Wiki page' that enables details to be edited, erased and updated.https://lnkd.in/gWDtur-z

Attachment-informed EMDR (AI-EMDR) is a specific type of therapy that combines EMDR techniques with attachment theory. In Mark's book "Unleash Your EMDR: Release the Magic," he demonstrates how to use AI-EMDR with clients who have attachment wounds. The therapy involves a technique called "floatback" or "bridge," which helps clients connect to early attachment experiences. The therapist then uses this information to conceptualize the case and develop specific interventions for the client. In addition, AI-EMDR involves creative interweaves, including the "WTF interweave," to help clients overcome attachment wounds#emdrtherapy #attachment #trauma
