In the month of June, we’re updating all of our prospect rankings on Prep Redzone Oklahoma. We’ve seen a ton of football this offseason from the 7v7 circuit to camps to most recently with team camps. We kicked off our month of ranking updates last week with a look at the 2027 class as they head into their sophom*ore seasons this fall. Last week, it was time to look at the 2026 class. On Monday, our 2025 rankings were updated to include the Top 200 players in the upcoming senior class. You cancheck out the updated rankings right here. In this post, we’re putting the spotlight on five prospects who made significant leaps in the rankings themselves. All five have been featured in the past but in this update, they soared up the charts. Check out Prep Redzone Oklahoma for more ranking updates, along with all of our 2025 prospect breakdowns later this week!

Ada defensive back Deante Lindsay Deante Lindsay 6'1" | DB Ada | 2025 State OK emerged on our radar following his junior season. We were told about him last summer and he obviously had a stellar 2023 season because colleges started coming after him with his film making the rounds. Lindsay also recently committed to Texas Tech and he’s jumped up to becoming one of the top defensive backs in this class and a borderline top 20 overall prospect. Lindsay is definitely a player that we want to watch in person this season because he’s going to be on an Ada team that has a legitimate shot to contend in an absolutely loaded Class 4A. But Lindsay is going to be a big name to watch there.

It feels like every time we update the 2025 rankings, Bixby wide receiver Blake Hogshooter Blake Hogshooter 6'4" | 190 lbs | WR Bixby | 2025 State OK moves further up list. And that’s because every time we see Hogshooter in person, he’s one of the more impressive athletes on the field. The Bixby standout enjoyed a breakout season last fall with the Spartans as their big play threat in the passing game. Now, Hogshooter is definitely in a position to be their leading receiver and have a dominant senior campaign. And he’s had that dominant part down all offseason. From the 7v7 circuit to spring ball and the camp circuit, Hogshooter has been a match-up nightmare in one on one situations and his recruitment has taken off because of it.

Union defensive back Ashton Cunningham Ashton Cunningham 5'9" | 135 lbs | DB Union | 2025 State OK is another defensive back that made a significant jump in the latest ranking update. Cunningham is a prospect that we’ve liked for a couple years now and he’s continued to elevate his game over the last two seasons. His recruitment has been steady and he has a good reputation as a lockdown corner that can do a lot of things well at that position. Earlier this month, Cunningham took an official visit to Boston College and within a week, he was committed to the Eagles. Union’s secondary lost some talent to graduation but it feels like they have just as much talent returning in 2024. And that conversation can start with this senior standout.

School: Jenks
Jenks defensive lineman Cash Jacobsen Cash Jacobsen 6'5" | 250 lbs | DL Jenks | 2025 State OK is another 2025 prospect that has been on our radar since shortly after his freshman season. But Jacobsen had to wait until 2023 to have that breakout moment after his sophom*ore season was limited because of injuries. However, Jacobsen had that breakout moment last fall and became arguably the state’s top interior defensive lineman prospect in the state’s 2025 class. He’s an absolute monster up front and this spring, he even got some work on the offensive side of the ball. Jacobsen is a big prospect but he’s also very athletic and has much more to his game than just strength and size. Earlier this month, he committed to South Dakota State.

Our final stock riser in the latest update is Jones tight end Riley Ellefson Riley Ellefson 6'6" | 225 lbs | TE Jones | 2025 State OK and he was another prospect that impressed us when we watched him in person this spring. We saw Ellefson in person once last fall and then checked out his film from junior season. He’s an impressive tight end prospect that brings a lot to the table other than his height, which makes him a match-up nightmare. Ellefson would then have a good showing at the team camp in May and talking with a few college coaches in attendance, he was one of the top guys that stood out to them as well. Ellefson is definitely a tight end prospect to watch moving forward. He’s the complete package at that position.
